GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES

1. The Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MAHATRANSCO), the State Transmission Utility of Govt.of Maharashtra and one of the largest Transmission utilities in the State requires dynamic, talented and professional persons for the following posts.    4)	System Analyst	3 posts	SC-1, Open-2
   5)	Asstt.System Analyst	17 posts	SC-2, ST-1, VJA-1, NTB-1, OBC-3(WR-1), Open-9 (WR-3)

3. Candidates MUST apply ONLY through online form. Applications in any other form shall not be considered. 
   
   
   1. The candidate shall be required to give a 1st round ONLINE TEST OF 1 HOUR DURATION.
   
   
   2. Short listed candidates from 1st round of exam shall be intimated for 2nd round of exam to be conducted at the following locations ( Mumbai, Pune, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Nasik ) via email.
      
   3. Short listed candidates from 2nd round of exam would be called for PERSONAL INTERVIEW, the details of which shall be communicated by MSETCL via email.
      
   
   
4. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable. However, the candidates selected and not possessing the knowledge of Marathi will have to pass Departmental Marathi Language Examination within period of three years from the date of joining the Company.
   
   
5. Employees working in Govt./Semi Govt. Undertaking will have to produce No Objection Certificate at the time of interview.

7. Application Fee:
   1. Application fee for Head Systems (IT), Dy.Head (IT), Team Leader (IT) for Open category is Rs. 600/- and for BC categories Rs. 300/-
      
      
   2. Application fee for System Analyst & Asstt.System Analyst posts is for Open category is Rs.500/- and for BC categories Rs.250/-
      
      
8. Demand Draft ( as the case may be)  payable to the “Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Ltd., Mumbai” (MSETCL) drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Mumbai. The demand draft should have 6 months validity period . It should be sent to the Post Box No. 8722, Andheri (East), Mumbai- 400 069, only by ORDINARY POST so as to reach on or before 22-12-2009.  Send your printed application form along with Demand draft. Candidate Name and Position applied for must be written behind of Demand Draft. Applications received after due date (for whatsoever reason) shall not be entertained.
