FAQ on Online Assignment
Q1. Who takes online assignment?
The candidates registered with MITSDE and eligible for appearing the assignments can take the assignment.
Q2. What are the hardware and software requirements for doing a assignment?
Minimum Hardware Requirements:
Pentium with 233 MHz or better, 64 MB RAM minimum (128
MB RAM recommended). 800 X 600 resolution; 256 color (1024x768, 16-bit is recommended).
Audio hardware is preferred, but not required.
Network Connection:
56K modem bandwidth is the recommended minimum for download
mode. ISDN, DSL, or Cable Modem bandwidth is recommended.
Minimum Software Requirements:
Microsoft Windows 98 SE, NT 4.x, ME, 2000, or XP. Please
Note: If using Windows XP, a JVM may need to be installed. Browser must support
cookies, Java and JavaScript.
Supported Browsers:
Internet Explorer 6.0 and above with SUN JRE 1.6 .To download

Q4. How to recover
the password?
Click
on Forgot Passwordoption and enter your Student ID and Registered Email id.The
new password will be mailed to you Registered Email id.
Q5. How to schedule the assignments?
After you login to the portal click
on Assignment tab. Read the instructions carefully and click on “I
AGREE”. You will be able to view the assignments as per semester and subjects.
The subject names would be displayed, below which you will be able to view the assignment
of that respective subject for eg : Click on that Assignment.

When you click on that assignment, your assignment will be activated for 30 days from that day.
Q6. How to start the assignment?
Step1: Click on
<<Show Scheduled Assignments>>
Step 2: You will view
the list of the scheduled Assignments.
Step3: Click on
<<Click for Start Scheduled Assignments>>.
You will be able to start the assignment.
Incase of a break in Internet connectivity or Power failure or Computer failure while giving the assignment, you can re-login in the portal with your user id and password, go to the assignments tab and click on <<Show Scheduled Assignments>>. Then click on the check box of “Show Unfinished Assignment” you will be able to see the unfinished assignment.
Q7. What do I do if I am not getting an access to the
assignment?
Please get in touch with Attest Operation Team for the same.
Q8. What is the estimated duration of the Assignment?
Once you start the assignment you have to appear the same within One hour. If you do not appear the assignment in one hour, the same will get lapsed after one hour.
Q9. Do I have to be always online to take the assignment?
Yes. To take a assignment you need to have continuous internet connectivity.
10. Can I access online assignments from more than one
computer, if am traveling to another branch can I access my assignment from that
branch?
Yes, the site can be accessed from any PC with an Internet connection, using the user id and password provided to you, so your assignment is available to you on any PC, any city and at any time.
Q11. Can I change my password?
Yes. After login, click on the Change Password button.
Q12. Whom should I contact for queries?
